[Mandr 8.2] Internet, videokaart, gaim probs :(

Ik heb dus net mandrake 8.2 geinstalled maar internet = Langzamer dan ooit ! ( casema )

Ik heb 2 video kaarten een Gts Pro en een Stealth III pci, in win xp heb ik dit draaien als een achtergrond van 1152 en eentje van 800x600 maar dat wil ie dus niet ik krijg het niet voor elkaar om apart de reso's in te stellen

En dan met Gaim onder Msn wil spontaan niet meer werken:

Hij logt netjes in en nadat ik ingelogd ben accuut weer uit

eerst deed ie dat niet en ik heb niets veranderd aan de instellingen

Hij gebruikt wel het msn protocol gebr en ww zijn Ok en ik heb ook al een aantal nieuwe accounts geprobeerd, maar dat mocht niet baten.

Mandrake 8.2 beter dan xp tot nu toe alleen maar vage probs mee

Veel kans dat dat gewoon aan casema ligt... .

Post je /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file eens, dan kunnen we je instellingen zien en dus verbeteringen suggereren. .

Sorry dat ik alles post maar ik ben een MEGA linux noob ( gisteren geinstalled )

ook erg klote dat ik mijn lettertypes niet veranderd krijg in Konqueror en dat ineens mozilla niet meer wil starten

Dat Gaimprobleem heb ik ook gehad. Ik heb er 3 dagen tot grote ergernis van de mensen op mijn lijst mee geklooit, maar het mocht niet baten. Ik had 0.55 en 0.56 wilde niet compilen, dus ik weet niet of het had kunnen werken met de nieuwste versie. Bij Gaim-irckanaal wist iig niemand waar het aan kon liggen, dus ik heb KMerlin er maar opgezet

Niet dat ik nu een Linuxkenner ben [ook pas een tijdje geleden geinstalleerd], maar ik mis de instellingen voor je 2 monitor/videokaart?
