Apache/linux geen .cgi maar wel .pl???? - Client software algemeen

Mijn apache server wil geen cgi scripts hosten als ze de .cgi extensie hebben. Hernoem ik ze naar .pl werken ze wel.

Weet iemand hoe dit komt en of hier consequenties aanzitten ivm veiligheid enzo?

Daar is geen fout in, je zou cgi en pl files door elkara moeten kunnen gebruiken:
AddHandler cgi-script cgi pl
