Ik heb een Intel 440LX mobo (chipset, board is van IBM (manufactured by Acer)).
On board:
Timer: IRQ 0
Keyboard: IRQ 1
[cascade]: IRQ 2 -> IRQ 9
COM 2: IRQ 3
COM 1: IRQ 4
[free]: IRQ 5
FLOPPY: IRQ 6
PRINTER: IRQ 7
RTC: IRQ 8
[free]: IRQ 9
[free]: IRQ 10
[free]: IRQ 11
MOUSE: IRQ 12
FPU: IRQ 13
IDE 0: IRQ 14
IDE 1: IRQ 15
I have 6 devices using interrupts:
Network adapter (Intel 10/100), 1 IRQ
On board sound, 1 IRQ
Adaptec AHA-2940SE, 1 IRQ
Matrox G400 Max, 1 IRQ
Promise Ultra100 Tx2, 1 IRQ
Integrated USB, 1 IRQ
So I need 5 IRQ's. This is no problem. I don't need COM2, so I can make available:
IRQ 3, 5, 9, 10, 11.
PCI 1 - Promise
PCI 2 - Adaptec
PCI 3 - Intel
AGP - Matrox
OnBoard - USB, ESSOLO
Now I want to force the following IRQ's:
Promise: IRQ 3
ESSOLO: IRQ 5
Matrox: IRQ 9
Adaptec: IRQ 10
Intel: IRQ 11
USB: IRQ 11
Whatever I try, I never get it configured. I end up with:
IRQ 3: Adaptec,
IRQ 5: ESSolo + Intel
IRQ 9: Promise + Matrox,
IRQ 10: USB
IRQ 11: Free
How can I configure the damn thing to use it I want.
Promise channel 1: UDMA 100 (IBM)
Promise channel 2: UDMA 33 (Maxtor)
IDE 0: Hitachi DVD
IDE 1: LE CR/RW
