Problemen met de WinTV theater

I bought a new WinTV-Theatre card from hauppage but i seem to have little trouble with it, maybe you can help me?
Everytime i install win98 or winme (currently winme) i have an irq conflict with the following device 'ACPI IRQ Holder for PCI IRQ Steering'
since i cannot manually change the IRQ or Memory adres from the card (windows tells me i cannot do that) i force an IRQ change in the Bios. But as soon as i do this, the 'ACPI IRQ Holder for PCI IRQ Steering' also changes from the IRQ setting, so everytime i change my TV-card settings the 'ACPI IRQ Holder for PCI IRQ Steering' settings are changed with it.
This conflict really annoys me because as soon as i want to restart my system or shut it down, the computer crashes because of the conflict ( i tested it thouroughly when the tv-card isn't installed i don't have problems)
i tried newer drivers, asked people on irc, but no1 can seem to help me. If you think you have solution, please help me out here then.

echt een k*tprobleem, ben er 2 dagen al mee bezig geweest
