Abit KT7 Raid + Duron 700 Bios Probleem

Ik heb net mijn nieuwe systeem gekocht, een Duron 700 + Abit KT& Raid, dit heb ik ff ingebouwd, maar nu kan ik niet eens in het bios komen, hierdoor kan ik mijn 2 nieuwe hardeschijven dus niet instellen als master en slave, dus een probleempje..

Ik heb SB 1024 en Viper 550

Hoe bedoel je, ik kan niet in de BIOS komen?

Werkt Del niet? Heb je je muis en keyboard wel in de goeie PS/2 connector gedrukt?

Yep, ik kan niet d.m.v. Del in Bios komen,en de PS2 zitten goed, ik heb alles geprobeerd.

heb je al geprobeerd om de vlear bios jumper aan te ztten en dan te rebooten? kan zijn dat de bios per ongeluk op een FSB van +28 staat ofzow? probeer anders te checken of je geheugn er wel goed in zit of dat je bordje kortsluiting maakt met de kast op een vreemde manier, dan weigert hij ook op te starten.

Of kan je wel opstarten maar gewoon niet het bios in? dan zou die eerste optie een goeie zijn denk ik. check je manual voor de jumperplaatsing

Ik heb precies hetzelfde gehad, als er tl staat geschreven met potlood op je bios chip, moet je dit ff lezen:

Why won't my Duron boot on my KT7?
This applies to BIOS TL only.

AMD changed the specification of some Duron processors manufactured after week 31, so that they require a core voltage of 1.6v rather than 1.5v. If your
processor is a week 31 Duron or later it will include the characters "AUT" and "0031" or higher in the serial number.

ABIT modified the KT7 and KT7-RAID BIOS in version UL to reflect this change. However, if your motherboard shipped with BIOS TL and you have a week 31
Duron, your machine will fail to boot. To resolve this problem you need to upgrade to BIOS UL, but this is difficult if you can't get the machine to boot! You have
three options:

1.Borrow another Slot A processor from a friend or shop, boot with this, flash to BIOS UL or later, and then reinsert your week 31 Duron
2.Take the motherboard or BIOS chip to your supplier, together with the latest BIOS and flash utilities on a floppy disk, and get the shop to flash the BIOS for
you.
3.Use an HB, B or 2B pencil to close the 4th L7 bridge on the top of the CPU. This sets the voltage manually at 1.625v and allows the machine to boot. You
can then flash to the later BIOS. (The graphite in the pencil is sufficient to make an electrical connection across the bridge). See Overclocking the
Duron/Thunderbird for a detailed description of how these L7 bridges work so that you know what you are doing! This may void your warranty (if anyone
notices).

Ik heb optie 3 gebruikt, ff tekenen en opstarten maar!(na UL erin gezet te hebben ben ik weer geen gummen )

Ik heb ff net de nieuwste drivers van 15/09 van Abit gedownd, en geinstalleerd, maar er blijft nogsteeds dezelfde "Bios ROM Checksum Error" staan, hij kan niets lezen, toetsenbord werkt niet, dus ik kan geen opties kiezen met een bootflop.
