[XP] Shortcut search for files or folders.

Weet iemand hoe ik een shortcut kan maken naar "search for files or folders"? Ik wil namelijk een van mijn easy acces buttons op mijn laptop proggen dat ie dat automatisch opstart.

CTRL+F lukt niet in de dialog voor Easy Access Buttons. Ik zou graag hetzelfde willen als Crash_neo. Is het uberhaupt mogelijk om een snelkoppeling te maken naar "Search" in WinXP?

A. Sure. This is a nifty, hidden feature of Windows that gets little attention, but if you use the Find function a lot it makes your life easier.

Bring up Find as you indicated, via the Start menu. Then, click on File, Save Search. This will create an icon on your desktop most likely called All Files.

If you search for the same thing over and over -- say, files with a DOC extension -- you can fill in the blanks for that kind of search, and use the File/Save Search command. You can also tell the Find feature to look only in specific places -- a set of folders, a single drive, etc. -- and save those. Create a folder on your desktop, call it Search and move all these icons in there for quick access to the things you search most often.

Werkt bij mij ook onder win2k, maar pas nadat de search klaar is!

Nog makkelijker: maak een nieuw bestand aan met .fnd als extensie. Doet hij het ook meteen. En dat is wel te shortcutten lijkt me zo
