waarom werkt ie niet?

ik heb het al een keer gevragd en ik vraag het dus weer.

waarom doet mijn KT7 het niet?

Hij doet het wel bij eynstein kennelijk.

Ik krijg geen beeld als ik 'm aanzet ik moet eerst dischargen(cmos) met een jumper en dan kan ik nix saven in biossetup, zo gauw ik gesaved heb doet ie weer nix en moet ik dischargen om weer te kunnen booten.

systeem:
230W voeding(zou dit te weinig kunnen zijn want de coolermaster haalt ook maar max 4311 terwijl ie 4500toeren moet halen)

P.S. maakt het veel verschil als je pc133 gebruikt? en maakt het voor spellen veel uit als je 64mb in plaats van 128mb hebt?

Een andere proberen te lenen van iemand zou ik doen.

Om de voeding uit te sluiten...Moet je zo weinig mogelijk aansluiten...om zo het stroomverbruik te beperken...doet ie het dan nog niet...dan ligt het niet aan de voeding

mijn kt7-raid deed ook niks, de oplossing vond ik in een nieuwsgroup, alt.binary.comp.overclock ofzo:

Why won't my Duron boot on my KT7?
This applies to BIOS TL only.

AMD changed the specification of some Duron processors manufactured after week 31, so that they require a core voltage of 1.6v rather than 1.5v. If your processor is a week 31 Duron or later it will include the characters "AUT" and "0031" or higher in the serial number.

ABIT modified the KT7 and KT7-RAID BIOS in version UL to reflect this change. However, if your motherboard shipped with BIOS TL and you have a week 31 Duron, your machine will fail to boot. To resolve this problem you need to upgrade to BIOS UL, but this is difficult if you can't get the machine to boot! You have three options:

Borrow another Slot A processor from a friend or shop, boot with this, flash to BIOS UL or later, and then reinsert your week 31 Duron
Take the motherboard or BIOS chip to your supplier, together with the latest BIOS and flash utilities on a floppy disk, and get the shop to flash the BIOS for you.
Use an HB, B or 2B pencil to close the 4th L7 bridge on the top of the CPU. This sets the voltage manually at 1.625v and allows the machine to boot. You can then flash to the later BIOS. (The graphite in the pencil is sufficient to make an electrical connection across the bridge). See Overclocking the Duron/Thunderbird for a detailed description of how these L7 bridges work so that you know what you are doing! This may void your warranty (if anyone notices).
Misschien dat jouw problemen ook verholpen worden met het UL Bios.

UL had ik al geflashed maar dat maakt nix uit, ik kan dat l7 bruggetje nog dichtkleuren
maar ik geloof niet da dat veel zin heeft als je UL al hebt
