HP JetDirect 610N EIO LaserJet 2100TN error

Bericht meer geschikt voor het HP forum, maar ik plaats toch maar even de vraag hier. Ik heb zojuist een JetDirect 610N (10/100Mbps enkel UTP) i.p.v. 600N in de HP LaserJet 2100TN geplaatst. Bij de 600N komt de printer na het aanzetten in standby, de 610N geeft echter een EIO error, zichtbaar aan de hand van de combinatie knipperende lampjes. Na 6 minuten staan alle lampjes stil en aan.

De kaart heb ik 2dehands gekocht, zodoende geen directe garantie van HP.

Het lijkt me erg sterk dat iemand hier een direct advies voor heeft, maar toch maar even een try.

heb zelf 2 HP's laser op het werk met jetdirect.
Je kan dit effe proberen:

Printer uitzetten.
Kaartje eruit trekken(RJ abel eerst eruit), zorg dat de jumpertjes op auto staan.
Kaartje weer erin (RJ kabel nog niet aangesloten)
Printer aan.
Set met de bedieningsknop>standaard fabriekswaarde herstellen.
Plug de RJ kabel erin
Print de EIO-menu. als je een server met DHCP, dan krijg die printer automatisch eeen private IP.
Ga met de browser naar de IP, daar kan je instellen.

Bedankt voor je reaktie! Jammer genoeg werkt dit niet. Dit is sowieso een standaard procedure tijdens de installatie, anders kan de dhcp of bootp hem niet vinden.

Wat ik doe is printer Job Cancel knop ingedrukt houden (tevens ook geprobeerd met Go knop en Go + Job Cancel, met 7-10 sec 10-20 sec combinaties), vervolgens printer aan, lang genoeg ingedrukt houden, loslaten, vervolgens zou hij de eio moet resetten, het serienummer uit de printer moeten halen en de pagina telling op nul herstellen. Dit gebeurd echter niet gezien de printer een accessoire error geeft.
Als ik de 600N / HP2100 reset, dan gaat hij na het loslaten van de knop steeds sneller om en om knipperen, waarna de printer in standby komt te staan d.m.v. standby led. Voor de JetDirect doe ik cancel button indrukken, aan, meer dan 20 seconden ingedrukt houden, loslaten, en dan is de JetDirect 600N gereset).


Ik denk dat de kaart kaput is. Of de ingebakken firmware van de printer te oud is (8 augustus 1998). :'(:'(

Trouwens hele goede tip die je gaf, want dit wist ik een jaar geleden niet, toen zat ik met mis geconfigureerde 600N, waardoor ik een week heb lopen kloten.

Deze laatst genoemde optie (GO + CANCEL) werkt niet. Hij blijft door gaan met error 12.
