[newb]Lukt gewoon niet :( (OpenGL)

Ik probeer echt alles...

wineX wilt geen openGL draaien hier,
heb alle mogelijke packages opgezocht, en geinstalled..
ook de Nvidia kernel, src en GLX...

gewoon bestanden in directory gooien.. het leek zo simpel maar het werkt gewoon niet..

iemand een idee wat ik mis doe?
wine wilt gewoon geen openGL support...

Zie je tijdens het laden van X ook een scherm met het NVIDIA logo voorbijkomen? Zo niet dan zijn iig. die drivers nog niet goed geinstalleerd.

even in /etc/X11 het XF86Config-4 bestandje openen, en dan de lijn opzoeken waar staat driver='nv' en die veranderen in 'driver=nvidia'. Daarnaast even in de modules sector (waar bv 'load <blablabla>' staat even load "GLX" neerzetten.

Daarna zou je tijdens het opstarten van X eerst een nvidia logo te zien moeten krijgen..

Ik kan me herinneren dat in de README stond dat je juist de regel:
Load "glx"
moest uitcommentariseren.

die glx moet er dus WEL in, en idd niet in hoofdletters..

Oops, mijn fout.... Ik was een beetje in de war met de GLCore.... Ik heb de readme op dit moment niet voor me en ik herinnerde me dat er iets uit moest staan en ik dacht dat glx was, maar moet idd GLcore zijn.

maar nog geen openGL zelfs tuxracer start niet op...

ook het nvidia logo bij de start zie ik niet...

welk bestand is dat precies? Je moet nl. wel die XF86Config-4 hebben.

Het feit dat je het nvidia logo niet te zien krijgt geeft aan dat hij de driver niet laad.

In diezelfde dir waar ook die README staat, staat ook een voorbeeld config. zet je oude XF86Config eens ergens anders neer en probeer dat voorbeeldbestandje eens..

Wat heb je precies allemaal geinstalleerd? Je hoeft nl. maar 2 pakketten te installeren, de RPM voor Mandrake (kernel) en die GLX RPM. Geen sources, is niet nodig tenzij je het perse zelf wil compileren.

er staan nix in geen nvidia in m'n .../docs

met software manager als ik zoek bij geinstalleerde komt er wel te staan : NVIDIA_GLX en NVIDIA_kernel

maar het lijkt wel of ze niet geinstalled zijn ofzo ?!?!

verwijderen lukt ook niet met software manager ?!?!
