Wat doet de 12volt plug onder je ATX plug?

Ik heb een ANUS P4B I845

Nu zit er onder me ATX aansluting een normale 12volt plug waar AUX bij staat waar is dat ding voor? In me handleiding stond er niks over.

Misschien iets voor een speciale Fan ofzow ?
kzou het verder ook niet weten, is het enige dat mij inviel

ASUS EZ Plug

The patented ASUS technology lets you use your existing power supply rathere than buying a new ATX 12V power supply. The ASUS EZ Plug connector is a 4-pin auxillary +12V connector mounted on the motherboard that connects a regular 4-pin device power connector from the power supply. This connector is necessary to provide the additional power required by the P4 CPU.

Dus dat is voor je cpu als je nog geen p4 cpu heb.

Sluit gewoon aan kan geen kwaad, is extra power als die het eens nodig heeft. Ik heb ze alle drie aangesloten op Asus P4-TE.
