[PHP] the password sender thingie??

When u apply to a website for example Planetarion.com or sitevan.nl you get a password sent to your email address... That password is selected by the computer (the script)... HOW do u make it do that??
What if i want a password 12 chars long, starting with a # and contaning ALL letters and ALL numbers..??

Please tell me some ways... IN PHP!!

Als je opnieuw post, vermeld dan ook even wat je al gedaan hebt en waarom het niet lukt. Het lijkt anders verdacht veel op een mini-scrip-request .
