php4.1 compileren

I when I try to run ./configure I got the following compile error:

checking for c++... c++
checking whether the C++ compiler (c++ -Wl,-rpath,/lib -L/lib) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C++ compiler cannot create executables.

I run Mandrake 8.1 GCC 2.96 and I'm trying to compile php 4.1.

The exact ./conigure command is:
./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs --enable-debug --with-openssl --enable-magic-quotes --with-zlib --enable-calendar --with-imap --with-kerberos --with-imap-ssl --with-qtdom --enable-trans-sid --with-dom

I hope somebody can help me with this.

Je hoeft geen engels te praten hoor
Aan je error te zien werkt de C++ Compiler (gcc) niet goed. Check of die goed werkt en ook alle benodigde libs geinstaleerd zijn. Dan zou 't wel moeten werken

Ja even in het engels omdat ik het niet alleen hier neerflikker maar ook op paar andere plaaatsen. Die GCC zou inorde moeten zijn. Als ik gewoon c++ intik komt hij met gcc aanzakken dus dat werkt goed. Ik had al zoveel mogelijk development troep geinstaleerd maar de goede blijkbaar niet en geen idee ik welke nu moet hebben.
