ik heb een paar virtual domains draaien,
sendmail ontvangt voor die afzonderlijke domains netjes mail, en dat is goed.
echter,
als je vanaf zo'n mailadres mail verstuurd, dan ziet de ontvanger het from adres als zijnde het adres van de mail server zelf en niet het adres vanwaar het verstuurd is.
bv:
als de mail server zo in de dns bekend is:
mydomain.mydomain.nl
en ik verstuur mail vanaf bv:
me@myotherdomain.nl
dan komt het zo aan:
from: me@mydomain.nl
maar als ik bv dit doe:
billgates@microsoft.nl
dan komt het ook zo aan:
from: billgates@microsoft.nl

ik draai sendmail kleiner dan v.8.10
ik heb het volgende in sendmail.cw:
mydomain.mydomain.nl
mydomain.nl
myotherdomain.nl
ik heb het volgende in aliases:
me@myotherdomain.nl gilux
