Patch On Monday
by A-C, Friday, January 11, 2002
Caryn Law just sent in the information regarding the RTCW patch that was scheduled to be released yesterday instead it will be released on Monday. Here's the info:
The Return to Castle Wolfenstein 1.1 multiplayer patch that was originally scheduled to be released late this week will be available on Monday. We had a minor issue with the update installer which we have fixed and are now testing. This is a multiplayer only patch (does not affect single player at all), and will be compatible with the original 1.0 version of the game. The patch addresses the following issues:
-Zombie Clients issue resolved
-Lieutenant grenade issue solved
-Issue with loading single-player maps in multiplayer fixed
-Various server stability issues fixed
-Link to easily find future updates added
-Added Voice-Chat abuse fix
It is highly recommended that everyone download the update, but particularly recommended for anyone running a server as it addresses all known issues relating to server stability.
