Ik wil misschien een soundblaster life 5.1 platinum met zo'n afstandsbedienning kopen, alleen nu wil ik weten wat je er allemaal mee kan.

is het ook mogelijk om ermee mp3's te skippen via winamp?

Dat laatste weet ik niet, maar ik heb een SB Live! Plat. 5.1 en ik heb zo'n afstandbediening. Je kan met dat ding cds afspelen en dat helemaal controleren d.m.v. cijfertjes en doorspoel/stop/play knopjes enzo . Er zit verder ook een volume, speaker en een mute regelaar op wat best handig is . Op de afstandbediening zitten ook cursor-knoppen en een ok-knop waarmee je ook je cd-spelert kan bedienen, hiervoor zal vast wel een programma zijn zodat je hem ook voor Winamp kan laten dienen. Het laatste over de knopjes, er zitten ook wat extra knopjes op als eax, options, display, return, start en close/cancel. Dat ook voor het menu een beetje extra te bedienen en bijvoorbeeld je eax instellingen te veranderen.

Er zit een programma bij genaamd "remote center" waarin je alles kan instellen over het berijk van de afstandbediening enzo. Allemaal best leuk, maar ikzelf vind de afstandbediening maar een overbodige luxe, aangezien ik hem toch bijna nooit gebruik.

De CD-Speler software is verder met de afstandbediening te bedienen en best

Well the remote is a feature that can not be overlooked. 
If you are into tech-y type toys then you should know that 
remotes make things better, right? =) 
It is the same as getting a remote for anything else, 
placing the power in the palm of your hand anywhere you 
are. Remotes for car stereos pop into my head... As I 
remember the first time I got a remote for my car stereo. 
I realize that the car stereo deck was about 11 inches from 
my right hand but that's not the point. Televisions are 
usually within 15 feet of the viewer but that's not the 
point. My computer speaker volume knob is 2 feet from my 
left hand but that is not the point. You see where I'm 
going with this? The remote function can be handy and 
downright necessary depending on circumstances. If you are 
someone that has guests over a lot and has 342394023 GB of 
MP3s on your harddrive, then the remote is definitely a 
must. If you are someone that watches movies on your PC 
after you pull the midsection of the couch over in between 
all the speakers with your loved ones then the remote is a 
must. I guess just make the call and see how much you would 
actually use it. Remember: Remotes make you cool and people 
will think highly of you.
