Weet iemand waarom deze chipset (Mpx) gewoon je werkgeheugen gaat claimen voor een paar pci-sloten, voorheen was dit toch niet het geval? En direct zo veel???
Wtf??? Is dat uberhaupt wel nodig?

Een apparaat op de PCI-bus doet zichzelf voor als een stuk geheugen. En moet dus in de 4GB ruimte ingeplaatst worden.

je hebt hiervan pas last als je meer dan die 3.5-3.8 Gb geheugen in je MB zet. Je raakt dus niet altijd 0.2-0.5 Gb kwijt.

Is dit normaal voor dit type (server) mobo's, en vind je dit ook bij Intel-based systemen, en/of andere AMD chipsets?
