Volgens mij: geweldig, ik heb dit boek gister bij de bieb gehaald en ben nu al verliefd, als je ergens ideeen voor nodig hebt dan vind je ze hier wel in
dit boek staat echt vol met mooie ontwerpen
ik baal nu wel dat ik geen scanner heb

anders had ik ff wat laten zien
(nee geen grapje, ik heb gewoon echt geen scanner)
Nog maar een artikeltje er over:
Typographics 1: The Art of Typography from Digital to Dyeline ($34.95) and Typographics 2: Cybertypezines + screens ($49.95), edited by Roger Walton, Hearst Books International (distributed by North Light Books, 800/289-0963). While Typographics 1 is more staid in its design than the second volume, both books focus on the latest type trends. The first book looks at innovative and experimental work from both professional and student typographers, divided into four sections: Type as Composition (designing with words); Type Plus (the alliance of type and imagery); Type as Text (typography as a medium for writer and reader); Type Itself (some recent highlights in font design).
The work in Cybertype, by contrast, focuses exclusively on one kind of publication: the magazine. According to editor Roger Walton: The work included here reflects the role that the computer continues to play in shaping the genre of the magazine, freeing the layout and subverting typographic conventions to develop a new style of information presentation. huH, U&lc, eye and Metropolis are some of the many magazines whose innovative use of type is featured in the book.
