[multimonitor] werkt alleen als pci kaart primairy

Klein vraagje:

Ik heb een tweede vga kaart in m'n pc gepropt om te kijken ofdat ik multimonitor kan gaan draaien. Helaas lukt het me alleen om multimonitor te draaien als m'n PCI kaart de primary monitor is. Als ik m'n agp op primairy zet dan blijft de monitor die aan de pci kaart hangt.. zwart.

Zou dit te maken kunnen hebben met de tweede PCI kaart.. misschien te oud.. ofzo. Matrox (blablabla) geen id welke, w2k herkent hem als een compaq Qvision 2000+ PCI

Update:

Any video card will work as primary, but the same is not true for cards being used as secondary. Here is a list of cards that should work fine as secondary:

cards based on Nvidia chipsets, for example the GeForce and TNT series
newer ATI video cards based on the RAGE 128 and RADEON chipsets
all Matrox cards
all 3Dlabs cards (except the first Permedia card)
3dfx Voodoo3 or later (no longer manufactured)


aangezien m'n pci kaart een Matrox is, zou deze dus moeten werken.. maar helaas... hij wil alleen als primairy functioneren..
