Driver 2 (playstation 1) probleem missie

Ik heb een probleem met een missie in het spel "driver 2" op playstation
De missie noemt "Chase the gunman". Het is één van de laatste missies (disk 2).
Ik ben nu al een paar dagen (ja DAGEN) bezig maar het lukt mij niet om deze missie te volbrengen.
Weet iemand een manier om deze missie (zonder cheats !!)
te voltooien ?
Ik heb al naar oplossingen gezocht, maar nergens staan er concrete tips (of tips die mij helpen).

Het volgende heb ik gevonden, maar het helpt niet echt :

Mission 35
CHASE THE GUNMAN
Chase and destroy a car
TIME: Day
TIME LIMIT: 1:50
Difficulty: *#### (1-5)

At the begin press triangle + up to get in the car. Then step on
it! I can't describe the route, because it's always a other
route.
Most off the times he drives this route:
The road where he starts on to the split, then to the right. (you
can cut it) After that he goes straight. Not onto the highway,
but just straight. Then comes a boring "S" road. (CUT IT) He
follows the roads by the "Mountain Pass". Just bump him much...
