[Apache Webserver]PHP/ASP

Ik ben overgestapt van IIS 5.0 naar de Win32 versie van de Apache Webserver (1.3.12 geloof ik). Heel irritant was namelijk dat ik het hele IIS 5.0 om de 2 weken opnieuw kon installeren, dus vandaar dat ik dit ff probeer.

Gewone standaard HTML pagina'tjes serveert ie nu wel, MAAR ik wil ook graag m'n ASP en PHP scriptjes kunnen laten runnen door dit servertje. Waar en hoe in dat vage httpd.conf moet ik dat configureren?

Daarnast heb ik het PHP4 pakketje wel hier liggen (op de desktop van m'n PC dan ) maar ik zou niet weten hoe ik ASP daarop draaiende moet krijgen...iemand een idee?

Dat kan niet echt eenvoudig.

Dr is wel iets van chilisoft ofzo maar waarom moeilijk doen als je IIS kan gebruiken...

Waarom moet je herinstalleren? Nooit last van hier..

Ik heb in deze korte tijd toch maar besloten om IIS te gebruiken, ik heb nl. wel gezien dat het een HEEL gekut wordt om alles werkend te krijgen.

Het probleem is dit: Als mijn computer om de wat voor reden uitvalt of reset (dus niet correct afsluiten), dan is de kans zo'n 40% dat ik m'n IIS opnieuw kan installeren. Waarom? Weet ik veel...

Eh als je op basis hiervan een OS wil kiezen ga je gang..

Ik ken dat probleem niet met IIS5.. en ik heb 7 Win2k Server servers en 2 professional doosjes onder mijn vingers waar ook wel eens een stekker uitgetrokken wordt, etc. Nooit problemen..

Neej, hier draait er ook een onder prof. gewoon de stekker weer terug stoppen

Draait ook apache bij met 6 virtualhosts
maar IIS is er voor asp hoor, da hebbik onder apache nog nie aan de praat. (komt nog wel 's)

Ik draai nu Apache onder Win98, ik heb dus mySQL nodig...
Ik moet dus IIS hebben..
Nou dan ga ik dat maar zoeken, weet iemand toevallig waar het staat?

Ik denk dat het trouwens wel kan hoor in beperkde mate geen global.asa etc.
Maar als je perl 5 onder IIS installed moet je een dll aanwijzen die de scripts runt dit kun je denk ik ook wel doen mits je weet welke dll voor asp nodig is...

Als je hier naar toe gaat,
http://www.phpgeek.com/phptriad.php, je haalt PHPTriad binnen, en installeert het, heb je iig je Apache op Win32 draaien met PHP support, hoef je verder niks voor te configureren. Hij ondersteunt helaas standaard geen ASP.

nee natuurlijk ondersteunt het niet standaard ASP en dat gaat ook helemaal niet op apache behalve met chillisoft maar dan heb je geen asp van microsoft

er zit een hele uitleg bij php over hoe je php moet installeren op apache. stap voor stap. document heet:
install.txt en staat in de php directory.

Installing PHP on Windows with Apache 1.3.x

There are two ways to set up PHP to work with Apache 1.3.x
on Windows. One is to use the CGI binary (php.exe),
the other is to use the Apache module dll. In either case
you need to stop the Apache server, and edit your
srm.conf or httpd.conf to configure Apache to work with PHP.

Although there can be a few variations of configuring PHP
under Apache, these are simple enough to be used by the
newcomer. Please consult the Apache Docs for further
configuration directives.

If you unzipped the PHP package to C:\PHP\ as desribed
above, you need to insert these lines to your Apache conf
file to set up the CGI binary:

ScriptAlias /php/ "c:/php/"
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
Action application/x-httpd-php "/php/php.exe"

Remember to restart the server, for example,
NET STOP APACHE
followed by
NET START APACHE

If you would like to use PHP as a module in Apache,
you should move php4ts.dll to the windows/system (for Windows 9x/Me)
or winnt/system32 (for Windows NT/2000) directory, overwriting any
older file. Then you should add the following two lines to you Apache
conf file:

LoadModule php4_module c:/php/sapi/php4apache.dll
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php

Remember to restart the server, for example,
NET STOP APACHE
followed by
NET START APACHE

To use the source code highlighting feature, simply create a PHP
script file and stick this code in:
<?php show_source("original_php_script.php"); ?>
Substitute original_php_script.php with the name of the
file you wish to show the source of. (This is the only way of
doing so).

On Win-Apache all backslashes in a path statement such
as: "c:\directory\file.ext", must be converted to
forward slashes.
