soltek socket A en socket 462

heey mensen,

keb een klein vraagje, is socket-462 hetzelfde als socket-A???
ik wil de soltek SL-75DRV2 gaan kopen(voor een AMD XP), maar als ik naar de specs kijk op : http://www.soltek.de/Dutch/product/75drv2.htm
dan zie ik eerst staan : "Optimized for all Socket-A processors"

en ff daaronder staat onder het kopje processors het volgende : "AMD Socket-462 Athlon (266/200MHz FSB) & Duron processor"

keb dus EEN KLEIN vraagje, is socket-462 hetzelfde als socket-A???

antwoord gegeven, zat ook te denken aan dat bord als de MSI K7T 266 Pro2 RU nie meer te krijgen was deze week, maar vandaag krijg ik hem

Interessant bordje, die Soltek. Alleen las ik op de afdeling bios:

"NOTE: Important with AMD XP processor on board 75DRV2

(1) Please upgrade the BIOS on board up to the latest version (K3.5).
(2) If the mainboard still has compatible problem with AMD XP processor after upgraded the bios, please contact your local distributor and ask for modification of mainboard circuitry which is needed for AMD XP specification(requested by AMD).
(3) There are slight difference in design and architecture between AMD XP and Athlon CPU. For detailed information on the problem, please contact AMD Technical Support."

Brrr... die laatste zin! Grapjassen daar, bij Soltek. Beter maar ff op n nieuwe revisie wachten?
