K7S5A - Here we go again, BIOS PROBLEM

Hya,

I flashed my MB with the newest BIOS, so that it will recognize my Athlon XP 1600+ processor. After installing a new Abit Siluro 64mb Gf2 mx 400, graphics card, it reverted to it's OLD BIOS.

How the hell can this happen? The problem is it won't flash with the new BIOS anymore (well it does but nothing changes).

Has anybody got an idea? BTW this problem is selective... I have got two computers, I both changed the card and only one reverted to the old BIOS.

strange.....i have this MB also.....no probs sofar....
(and i HAVE flashed the bios to the OC special one !)

Thank god xs4all also caters for english speakers

I can ofcourse try and write in Dutch, and make you all go 'what the hell is he talking about' or I can explain it in English and try and decipher the dutch in the replies.
