DHS was recently informed by it's sponsor that they will not be continuing
their sponsorship. The sponsorship payments for the hosting and bandwidth
DHS uses ceased in June. DHS International has been able to maintain
services from funds gathered from user donations and advertising revenue.
As you may be aware, advertising revenue streams have been depreciated in
recent times and this has resulted in DHS International having to fund the
free services expenses from the share holders own pockets.
As you may be aware, DHS is a completely voluntary organization which relies
on community support and the generosity of the shareholders to operate. We
need your support in order to pay for the hosting and bandwidth used in the
provision of the free services. DHS International is committed to
maintaining the free services but to do so requires users support.
In order to raise funds, DHS is looking to provide a range of services to
our users, these services are as follows:
Registration of domain names under .tv, .ca, .biz, .info, .com, .net and
.org. Coming soon...
Redirection of any domain name to a URL and includes redirection of all
email for the domain to a supplied address

Price is $10.00 AuD (approx $5 USD) per year
Including a POP3 mailbox instead of email redirection $10.00 AuD per month
with 5 megabytes of space
Additional POP3 mailboxes are $8.00 Aud per month per mailbox, each with 5
megabytes of space
Web Hosting
Package 1
10 megabytes of space, 1 gigabyte of data transfer per month
PHP and CGI $15.00 AuD per month
Package 2
40 megabytes of space, 3 gigabytes of data transfer per month
PHP, CGI and Shell Access $30.00 AuD per month
DNS Primary Service $15.00 AuD per quarter
Includes one Secondary Service and 2 updates per month, additional updates
$2.00 AuD each
DNS Secondary Service $10.00 AuD per quarter
These services will take some time to generate an income stream. They will
be introduced over the next month but income from these will take anything
up to 6 months to generate enough to cover the provision of the free
services.
To cover the next 6-7 months of services, DHS International needs to have a
cash reserve of approximately $10,000 AuD, or around $5,000 USD.
With currently over 200,000 users, this equates to a very small donation per
member if all participated. Unfortunately, to date, despite the high
generosity of those who have made donations, the total donations to date
have only reached $1,600 AuD and these funds have been expended.
DHS International is calling upon all users of our free services who have
not already made a donation to now do so. We really are committed to
providing totally free services but circumstances may force us into a user
pays situation unless users can see their way clear to supporting the
services on their own violation.
