[Slackware 8.0] Nieuwe packages

In de slackware-current tree staan inmiddels een opnieuw gebakken KDE-2.2.1, openssl 0.9.6b, openssh 2.9.9p2, gcc 3.02, htdig 3.1.5 (security fix!!) Koffice 1.1 (poging 2) en nog wat oudere updates Let wel dat dit nog 'unstable' software is.
Voor de liefhebber te downen op ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware-current of een van de mirrors (xs4all heeft op dit moment de slackware tree verkloot) En voor de security updates kun je terecht op ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware-8.0/patches/ .

Ik heb volgens mij in changelog gelezen dat je dan wel eerst openssh of openssl moest upgraden. Dit is zo omdat KDE 2.2.1 hiervoor opnieuw compiled is.
Ik zie nu dat de changelog een beetje verkloot is omdat het er niet meer bij staat.

Nu werkt de changelog wel dus doe ik die er even bij .

gcc-3.0.2/: Added GNU gcc-3.0.2. This is for testing purposes...
Slackware packages are still being built with gcc-2.95.3.
htdig-3.1.5/: Added a patch to resist a DoS attack.
kde-2.2.1/: Recompiled against openssl-0.9.6b, fixed "help" problems.

koffice-1.1/: Rebuilt against rebuilt kde-2.2.1.
openssh-2.9.9p2/: Upgraded to openssh-2.9.9p2, built against openssl-0.9.6b.
openssl-0.9.6b/: Upgraded to openssl-0.9.6b.
NOTES: Before upgrading KDE, first upgrade htdig, openssl and openssh.

with the KDE-2.2.1 batch before... sorry.

Started new -current directory. For now, this will be used to hold upgrades to
Slackware 8.0, starting with KDE-2.2.1. I used the long package name format
that's been used in the Slackware ports (name-version-arch-build.tgz) and
which will be the default format in slackware-next.
