Ik heb de volgende hardware toegevoegd in mijn linux server:
1 ISA kaartje met 2 extra parallelle poorten
2 Promise Ultra 100-TX2
3 Tapestreamer Onstream 30DI
Ik werk met SuSE 7 en gebruik kernel 2.4.4
1. Nu zou ik dus 3 parallelle poorten moeten hebben (1 standaard + 2 van dat kaartje) maar ik zie er maar 2 staan.
2. Kan die Promise kaart niet met kernel 2.4.4 werken en moet ik dus verplicht een nieuwere gebruiken? (2.4.4 support wel de chip 20267 maar op die kaart van mij zit 20268)
3. Ik heb in de kernel aangegeven: include IDE/ATAPI TAPE support. Maar volgens mij werkt die ook niet.
In mijn systeem zit het nu als volgt:
ide0 (op moederbord): HD 27 GB
ide1 (op moederbord): CD-ROM + Tapestreamer
op de Promise komt een 100GB WD
