Linux HLDS problemen: libhlwon.so

Hoi Allen,

Ik wilde net een post gaan plaatsen bij sierra op het forum, maar er gaat er eea mis met aanmelden dus, copy en paste ik mij vraag hier:

PS. Ik denk dat hij hier moet en niet in nonwindows groep!!

Having problems with HLDS for linux. Keep getting the following error:
libhlwon.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Although I've copied the libhlwon.so into a directory that's in /etc/ld. .conf (don't know now the exact name) and run the ldconfig
This didn't work, changed the ld file and included the directory where the libhlwon.so is ran the ldconfig again.. Again it said it couldn't find the file.
Then i looked closer to ldconfig and with a couple of command line parameters i got an overview of all registered .so files:
(filtered it down so it only includes dir and file!)
/usr/X11R6/lib:
libhlwon.so -> libhlwon.so
/usr/games/hlds_l
libhlwon.so -> libhlwon.so
So that should be good!

I don't know what to look for any more! Help me please!!

Specs:
CPU: P-200
MEM: 128MB
Linux-distri: Mandrake 8.1
Kernel: 2.4.8
HLDS: hlds_l_3108_full.tar.gz

Maar waar is dat bestand te downloaden dan?

je moet het bestand daar ook niet heen copyeren maar het path in ld.so.conf toevoegen en dan ldconfig draaien

200 Mhz lijkt mij ook wat weinig, maar dat is jouw probleem niet! Ik zou een clean install van hl maken en dan alle benodigde updates en server patches eroverheen gooien.

Je hebt niet echt veel proc kracht nodig om een CS/HL dedicated server te draaien hoor.

sorry voor deze schop maar ik heb hetzelfde probleem en ik heb die libhlwon.so al gecopieerd en ldconfig gerunt
ik gebruikt slackware 8.0
