Quote van de GeniCom/Texas Instruments site:
Ben dus bang dat het niet echt gaat werken.........Summary: There is not and will not be a Win/4 driver for Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows 98, or any other operating system.
Customers requiring operation on these platforms are advised to purchase a more versatile printer.
Details: The microLaser Win/4 was designed and marketed by Texas Instruments strictly as a Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 driven printer for the home and small office environment. By using the host-based Microsoft Windows Printing System (WPS), the burden of print processing is placed on the host system. By doing this, a lower cost controller can be used in the manufacture of the Win/4. This cost is passed on to the consumer, creating an economical solution for quality printing.
This does cause a number of limitations in the Win/4 operating environment. The printer is limited to operation only under Windows 3.1x, Windows for Workgroups 3.1x, and Windows 95, or from a DOS box under Windows
