Is SCSI dead ?

Trying to locate ASPI drivers (new ones) for my adaptec AHA2940UW I discovered that Adaptec doesn't have them anymore.
They say that there are no ASPI drivers anymore for the versions ME and up.
Now I have a SCSI Plextor/HD setup.
Does this mean that I have to rebuild my PC to a IDE only device and throw away my 2940/SCSI setup?
Plextor stopped making SCSI drives too
I cannot believe it.
Actually now that I am running ME I cannot write CD's anymore with Roxio Easy CD Pro 5.0 since it constantly wants me to up date the ASPI drivers....
I searched the Internet but couldn't find an update anywhere... :(:(:(:(:(:(:

I never needed to install ASPI drivers with it

Dat heet globalisering, ofwel veramerikanisering.
En binnenkort alles in Euro.

En terug te komen op SCSI, dat gaat voorlopig niet "dood": wordt nog steeds in servers gebruikt.
