Ik krijg het niet aan het werk, is er iemand die het wel gelukt is.
Ik denk dat het een driver-probleem is..
Op m''n vorige moederboard (ook onboardsound creative vibra 16) werkte het prima
Of moet ik toch voor een andere geluidskaart gaan , zoja welke...
ik mis de steinway gigapiano

Er is vaker wel vreemde dingen aan de gang met muzieksoftware en AMD Athlon processoren. Het blijkt dat die processoren vaak complabiteits problemen veroorzaken

Dat heb ik ook gehoord.

Probeer het anders eens met een losse (pci) geluidskaart, kijk of het dan wel werkt.

Ik werk nu onder windows me, als ik nu gigasampler start krijg ik een wazige

Maar ik ga toch maar een sounblasterje of teratec kaartje scoren...

ok let me get this straight: je stuurt gigasampler aan met een onboard geluidskaart?!? dat is toch zonde van de kwaliteit lijkt mij.
Aan de andere kant zou het opzich wel moeten doen. Ik ook zulke moederborden, dit weekend bouw ik mijn pc''s, dan probeer ik het ook wel even. Onder welk platform werk je nu? Windows 9x of 2000?

kweetniet, heeft je soundcard een gsif driver..? (da''s zeg maar gigasampler formaat..?)
en wat betreft AMD,
waarom audio vaak niet lekker werkt met AMD heeft nix met de proc. te maken maar meer met de chipsets die nogal ''exotisch'' zijn en wat instabieler werken. zeker bij lage latencys (1,5 ms ofzo)
maar lijkt me hier niet van toepassing.
wat moet je trouwens met gigasampler met een onboard geluidskaart

NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE , koop zo''n lekkere Fortissimo 2 of Aureal kaart (of de Philips als je em vindt) . Soundblaster zijn eigenlijk dikke boechtkaarten , m''n FPS2000 Digital DIN is designed for soundblaster Live! en dan heeft die rotkaart geen Digital DIN-out . Krijg ik het echt van op m''n heupen . Als de Fortissimo 2 er is vliegt die erin want ik vondt m''n Fortissimo 1 al beter dan m''n Player 1024 (lekker optical out voor MD) maar hij ging op onverklaarbare wijze ineens stuk .

Ik ben nu een tijdje in het bezit van dit ding, bevalt prima.. Doordat het een externe is ook wat minder interferentie van de pc.
