[BC3] Nero doet het niet [Log]

Ik word een beetje gek. Ik heb een nieuwe brander een acer 10x8x32 hier bij zat Nero 5.0.2.4 geleverd. Ik heb deze geïnstalleerd [ik draai windows 2000].
Nu is het zo dat hij niet wil branden.
Hij wil wel een cdrw formateren. Maar een gewone cd-r of cd-rw branden .... ho maar
En hoe zit dat met dat joliet, kan je daar niet omheen? Eerst gebruikte ik easy CD Creator en had ik nooit van die meldingen over lange bestandsnamen. De versie van Easy CD Creator die ik heb ondersteund mijn brander niet, dus ben ik aangewezen op Nero.

Ik hoop dat iemand uit deze log kan opmaken, wat mijn probleem is.

ik heb niet die hele log gelezen, maar check eens of je harddisk en brander nie op ''tzelfde ide-challen zitten, en of je niet "on the fly" brand als je van cd-naar-cd doet, als die 2 op ''t zelfde ide channel zitten

verders... brand eens op halve snelheid, doet ie dat wel, is je datadoorvoer te sloom... defrag kan soms helpen, omdat je harddisk dan minder snelheidsverlies maakt bij ''t lezen (klinkt maf, maar hier was ''t wel ''n oplossing voor ''n hoop ellekde met me phillips 4x4x12x )

Misschien dat EasyCDKrater en Nero conflicteren?

(er staan een aantal SCSI/IDE errors in je log).

Een conflict met Easy CD Creator kan het niet zijn, want ik heb gister een clean install gemaakt.
De brander is parallel aangesloten op de cd-rom. De cd-rom staat op master en de brander op slave. Het vreemde is dat hij een cd-rw wél wil formateren, maar er vervolgens geen nieuwe data naar toe wil schrijven. Dit geldt ook voor cd-r, afgezien van het formateren dan
