Ik zit hier achtere een slackware 7.1 router/firewall en mijn vriendin idem bij haar thuis , nou was het geen probleem om files te sharen met mensen die achter een firewall zitten terwijl ik dat hier wel het gaval is. Maar als die andere persoon ook achter een firewall zit hoe moet ik icq dan instellen op beide comps ( nieuwste built icq 3279) zodat file sharing een non-issue word ? thanks !

dank , maar er staat ook bij dat het eventueel niet met icq 2000 zou werken , maar alleen met 99 ? kan je me daar ook iets meer over vertellen ? bvd

En als je nou gewoon icq en je firewall een beetje op elkaar aftstemt? ICQ een range van listening ports geven en deze mappen of over je vuurmuur. Dan moet het toch ook lukken?

Darkman, wat dacht je ervan om eerst eens goed te l.e.z.e.n. voordat je een vraag stelt? Ik vind het niet erg hoor, maar de info die ik heb, haal ik ook van hun site af. Gewoon goed lezen dus.

Je moet dus ICQProxy gebruiken.
