Just a quick question: if i decide to install this on my speaker, i assume it removes the speaker its original firmware, right? Am i able to roll back to the original Bose firmware (witch i downloaded from the official Bose website) if i don’t “like” this?

nevermind, i already found the answer on the website:

"Bose firmware blijft ongewijzigd

De officiële Bose firmware wordt niet aangeraakt. STR staat alleen als extra bestanden in het interne geheugen. Een fabrieksreset van de luidspreker zet de Bose software terug, maar laat de STR bestanden staan. Wil je STR helemaal verwijderen, gebruik dan de nette uninstall in de app zelf, die de luidspreker terugzet naar de originele Bose staat."

And because of this project, i managed to get the remote control for my SoundTouch 520 working, as that was the only thing i could not manage to get it to work. So thank you very much.
