Hi everyone,
I am opening a separate topic after initially posting in an existing discussion, as I realised from previous posts that I may not be the only Ziggo customer experiencing this problem.
In January 2026, I discovered that I had been charged for a Netflix subscription through Ziggo since November 2025. I already have my own Netflix account which I pay for separately, so I contacted Ziggo and cancelled the subscription.
However, the charges reappeared. According to Ziggo, Netflix was reactivated in February 2026. I did not request or authorise this reactivation and have asked Ziggo to provide the relevant chat records so I can establish what actually happened. As I thought that this matter has been sorted out after calling Ziggo and cancelling the first time, I haven't noticed until August that they have reactivated this subscription again in February 2026.
I have again contacted Ziggo on multiple occasions, but so far they have not offered me any solution or compensation. I was told that someone would call me regarding my case, but that call never happened. I have even contacted the VodafoneZiggo Privacy Officer to request the relevant records and information.
What concerns me even more is what happened this August. I cancelled Netflix through Ziggo again, while Ziggo already had an open case regarding my dispute of these costs. Despite this, the Netflix subscription has once again been reactivated!
At this point, I have incurred 10 months of charges for a Netflix subscription I did not request or authorise, while already paying for my own Netflix subscription separately!
I came here because I found previous discussions from people reporting similar issues, so I would really like to know whether anyone else is currently experiencing this.
And with hope that anyone from @VodafoneZiggo will actually provide some support.
Has anyone had Netflix activated or reactivated through Ziggo without their authorisation? If so, did Ziggo identify how this was happening and offer you a solution, refund or any other compensation for the unauthorised costs?
I would really appreciate hearing how others managed to resolve this, as after multiple contacts with Ziggo I am still without a solution.
Thank you in advance
