Ik had hetzelfde probleem met mijn ErgoPro x453 fileserver-to-be (p200mmx) die ik gisteren heb gekregen.
Daar stond een admin wachtwoord in wat, zoals al eerder gezegd, niet te verwijderen is door het batterijtje los te halen of via een jumpertje op het moederbord (het wachtwoord wordt in het EEPROM opgeslagen).
Wat wel werkt is het BIOS flashen, zoals Balou had gedaan via een omweg. Helaas kan je bij een aantal ErgoPro's niet zomaar het bios flashen als er een wachtwoord opzit: de flashtool vraagt dan om het wachtwoord (bij de mijne was dat ook).
Maar, na zorgvuldig de handleiding bestuderen (gevonden op een fujitsu site) kwam ik er achter dat er een "Force FLASH Load" procedure is voor het geval dat het FLASHRAM BIOS verloren gegaan is of er een fout is geweest bij het flashen. Deze procedure blijkt ook gewoon te werken als het bios nog helemaal intact is, of als er een wachtwoord opzit wat normaal flashen verhindert

Load procedure
• Copy the correct BIOS LDB file to the root directory of a pre-formatted blank floppy. The file will be named BXX_YYY.LDB, where XX is the machine ID, and YYY will change depending on the BIOS version.
• Locate the BOOTBLRE and BOOTBLN pin pairs from the jumper block 1. Refer to the System board jumpers section for the exact position.
• With the power off, take the link from BOOTBLN position and place it over the BOOTBLRE pin pair.
• With the power off, short-circuit the "force flash load" solder pads. To locate the pads, see the following picture.
• Switch on the power and wait for the continuous short beep signal ( · · ·...). Do not power off the PC. If you do not hear this signal, you have not shorted the solder pads correctly; you must turn off the power and try again, or the boot block loader will not work correctly.
• With the power on, remove the short from the solder pads. The beep signal to insert the LDB floppy will start (· · · - · ). This signal will repeat until the floppy with the correct LDB-file is inserted.
• Insert the LDB floppy into drive A:
• The system will perform the automatic BIOS upgrade procedure, and after a couple of minutes the PC boots up.
• With the power on, remove the link from the BOOTBLRE pin pair and put the link on the BOOTBLN pin pair.
Volg deze instructies om je bios te flashen en je wachtwoord is weg!
Let wel: de "Force Flash Load Pads" waar over gesproken wordt, zijn géén jumpers. Het zijn gewoon twee vierkantjes soldeer ergens op het moederbord die je moet kortsluiten. Ik heb dat gedaan door een stukje paperclip er op te drukken.
De plaats van van de pads kan je vinden in de handleiding van je pc. Die staan op hun beurt allemaal op de engelse
site van Fujitsu, om precies te zijn hier:

BIOSen om te flashen (zonder wachtwoord uiteraard), kun je voor veel modellen
hier vinden.
Zo zou je altijd zonder teveel moeite van dat waardeloze bios password af moeten kunnen komen
(Ik weet dat dit een oud topic is, maar het is kennelijk een probleem waar veel mensen niet uitkomen dus post ik de oplossing hier maar even).
