The Defense Department now refers to itself as the "Department of War" in public and on its website, but is still technically named the Department of Defense, as only an act of Congress can formally change the name of a federal department.

alleen het congress kan een naams wijziging doen.
En omdat 1 persoon een emmer een trap noemt, betekent niet dat de hele wereld daar in mee hoeft te gaan en ook emmers trappen gaat noemen.
het is gewoon Defense Department totdat het congress anders beslist.
