IDEA:todays hot-or-not idea from the cannot-coder (that's me). a variation on the sharing programs like audiogalaxy and kazaa and all that. people can make groups and protect them with a password and invite people they know so that in this group people can share what they want (looks like a big server) in it. The program has just to monitor and create groups with information ho w people can contact eachother. sort of internet -subnetwork. no need for servers, people can just put ip adresses in of ppl they know?
ADVANTAGES:would be good for businesses to share documents and all that, as well as consumers or people that want to watch films etc or store backups on friends discdrives. And it prevents the need for setting up or installing non-intuitive ftp servers or http servers to let a friend download a single file.
Just an idea, think it would work. Maybe it can turn out to a real working project someday. If u care let me know
