New PC built, ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-Plus WIFI, intel i9 14900K, corsair vengeance 32gb 6400 cas32, Corsair MP700 Pro XT 2TB.

UserBenchmark is reporting the CPU's boost is very low. Havent seen it boost up over 5.4ghz. Temperatures are around 40C. Intel Diagnostic Tool workload 100% pushes it up to 80C. Rather normal they say. The tool didnt report any errors.

The SSD is PCIE 5.0 running on 4.0. Should be fully compatible, just running on lower speed. Performs well, according to benchmark. But every now and then system restarts with the blue screen reporting WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR.

The DRAM seems fine: Windows Memory Diagnostic didnt detect any errors. Its performing ok, tho the latency was a little higher than normal.

PSU is new, rather low (750W) but should be fine to power 14900K with my old GTX1070.

Bios was updated right after installation. Cant find any drivers for the MP700 Pro XT.
I have no idea what to look for else.

Yesterday when i got the error, something odd happened: for the first time, CPU was having 100% workloads, but there was no process to be found. I found a topic about power management. Somehow my setting was changed to 'balanced'. All i did was set it back on 'performance' and cpu loads were normal again.

Hello,

Unfortunately that error can mean pretty much anything.

Two questions right of the bat:

- Can you post a full specsheet? What parts do you have. The PSU is 750W, but I'm curious which model you got.
- Have you tried running the system with just 1 of the ram sticks? Or try turning off XMP in your bios and see what that does.

The PSU is a "BeQuiet System Power 11". That one was in my old PC for about 2 months and that system was running fine. Just not good enough for my virtual piano software.

XML off, was my situation before updating bios; at first they were running at 4000. The first stop i got before updating bios and setting the xml profile to run at 6400. I am going to pull one out... Thing is tho, the error only was given once a couple of days... Before yesterday, it was running fine for 4 days.

Als je alles nieuw hebt gekocht dan kan je de 14900K nog retour sturen en een fatsoenlijke processor kopen die zichzelf niet de nek om wilt draaien ;)

Have tried both dimms seperately, even though diagnostics already reported no errors. What I can see in benchmark, is clearly the cpu is running poorly; below the 5th of 100 samples, running at 5.2-5.4ghz, where the 95th was performing at 5.8-5.9ghz.

What i forget to mention: when the pc is restarting its going to bios, as it cannot find the SSD. Power off, its starting up again, going to windows. For this reason i'm still worried it might not be the CPU, but SSD...
