APsystems in Home Assistant

Mijn vraag
Ik probeer de zonnepanelen zichtbaar te krijgen in Home Assistant, maar krijg de melding "Failed to connect".

Relevante software en hardware die ik gebruik:
- Home Assistant Green hub
- AP Systems YC600/QS1 kastje
- Met VLAN gescheiden netwerken: HA op 'main', AP Systems op IoT. (maak gebruik van een Unifi UDM Pro)
- Beide apparaten zijn bedraad aangesloten.

Wat ik al gevonden of geprobeerd heb
- Via de normale route om APsystems als Integration toe te voegen krijg ik na invullen van het IP adres de 'Failed to connect' melding.
- Volgens Google zou er via HACS een alternatief zijn, namelijk de "HAEdwin APsystems ECU Reader" integratie, maar die kan ik niet vinden.
- Totale newbie wat betreft Home Assistant. Dus als iemand een suggestie heeft, dan graag in Jip & Janneke taal...

toevallig heb hier ook toegevoegd. werkte meteen volgens mij alleen ipadres invoeren en draaien.
draai deze addon:APsystems ECU Reader
Versie 2.9.0.
Addon via HACS Toevoegen!
1. Downloading the custom integration
Navigate to HACS and choose the overflow menu in the top right corner of the Home Assistant Community Store.
Choose Custom repositories and paste the url: https://github.com/HAEdwi...tant-apsystems_ecu_reader in the Repository field.
Choose Type > Integration and select the [Add]-button. From this point it might allready have been added to the personal store repository. If not, wait for it to appear then close the Custom repositories dialog window.
In HACS search for APsystems and the APsystems ECU Reader will be listed in de Available for download section.
From the overflow menu on the right select [Download] and automatically the latest version will be listed for download so choose [Download].
HA Settings will now show the repair action that a Restart is required, submit the action and HA will restart.After HA's restart the downloaded custom integration will be detected by HA. The integration will need to be configured in order to fully integrate it in HA and make it work.
2. Integrating the custom integration into Home Assistant
Navigate to [Settings] > [Devices & services] and choose the button [+ ADD INTEGRATION] in the lower right corner.
In "Search for a brand name", choose APsystems and the APsystems ECU Reader will be listed.
Select it and the Configuration dialog will show, enter IP-Address of the ECU, rest of the defaults are fine so choose [SUBMIT].

Krijg dezelfde fout, zowel met als zonder een SSID / wachtwoord in te voeren onderaan. (uiteraard wel het IP-adres gevuld)
In de readme / help lees ik iets over wifi only voor verschillende types van AP Systems. Kan dat er mee te maken hebben? Vermoedelijk heb ik de ECU-R en bedraad aangesloten (wat ik ook het liefst zo hou) ...

En opgelost: het zit dus inderdaad in het "wifi-only" stukje. Zonder kabeltje was het binnen 5 minuten geregeld.
Nu nog uitzoeken hoe ik er iets moois van kan maken in HA.
