Windows 11 laptop uit slaapstand bij bewegen Bluetooth muis

Ik had dit probleem al op mijn oude Windows 10-laptop met een Logitech-muis, maar daar kon ik het via Apparaatbeheer uitschakelen, ook al werd de muis daar niet als muis weergegeven, maar als toetsenbord.

In Windows 11 lijkt dit echter onmogelijk. Ik ben alle instellingen in Apparaatbeheer nagelopen en heb het ook geprobeerd via CMD. Vervolgens kwam ik onderstaande tekst tegen over de S3-slaapstand. Betekent dit dat het daadwerkelijk onmogelijk is?

In de BIOS kon ik ook geen optie vinden om Bluetooth wake uit te schakelen.

Het kan toch niet waar zijn dat je in Windows 11 niet kunt uitschakelen dat het bewegen van je muis de laptop uit de slaapstand haalt? Dan gaat hij gewoon aan in je tas?

Nope, not possible, and MS is INCOMPETENT. Still not possible to define which device should be allowed to wake up. THIS IS A JOKE. Example: Dell XPS 15 9570, if you have bluetooth mouse or keyboard connected, it can wake up the laptop even if the lid is closed, and burn the laptop to death. How incompetent can someone be that this is still not adressed? Same for UB devices like a Logitech Unifying dongle. You can wake up the laptop even with lid closed with mouse movement and burn it to death.


I tried to adress this since 2 years now to Dell and MS (you have noone to talk to actually), and they just DONT CARE nor understand the issue.


Only with old S3 (suspend to RAM) you were able to define which device is allowed to wake up or not. MS removed this with modern standby, you just cant anymore which is ridiculous.


You wont get any help here btw, this forum is led by people who have nothing to do with MS nor work for MS and most of the time have no idea, what you want from them.


Only "solution" is to use hibernate, which wears off your SSD. Thumbs Up MS.


I also wrote to Logitech, and they basically told me, their products are not compatible with modern standby, so the driver for their products, and this is no joke, are not compatible with modern standby and dont allow a sleep/idle modus.


The powercfg commands just work for S3, not """modern""" standby.

Vond dit wel een grote stap maar probeerde nog te downgraden naar oude stand-by versie maar dat is allemaal uitgeschakeld door Microsoft:

Ik heb het maar opgegeven en zet mijn laptop nu maar gewoon in hibernate in plaats van stand-by.
