Hey tweakers !

I am in need of assistance. There are 2 oled monitors that look really good in Belgium at the moment. THe LG 27GS95QE-B or QX for me but same monitor. And the gigabyte aorus FO27Q2, not the Q3 but Q2 which to me looks like the same monitor but 240 hz instead of 360 hz. I really don't need 360hz.

I am debating between the two. The LG costs 599 euro at the moment, the gigabyte 563 euro. Which one do you guys think is best ?

Kind regards,
Mikiforyou

I've been looking for led monitors aswell lately and there is so much to find out about. Things for you to figure out;
- Do you prefer OLED (LG) or QD-LED (Samsung) / pros-cons of both
- LG is Anti-glare - Gigabyte is glare, from what i read online, people prefer a slight glare on oled monitors, although this can be an issue if you work/game whatever in a room with a lot of (direct) sunlight or even bright rooms for that matter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3DkYK0fW5A

Noticeable points;
-apparently the Gigabyte has longer warranty, something to consider with posssible burn-in and if that even bothers you or not.
-LG has relatively more power consumption.
-LG has slightly more brightness.
-The Gigabyte has USB-C connectivity, maybe handy for portable devices?
-The LG has no built in speakers, Gigabyte does have build in speakers

I think most of it comes down to personal preference, both nice screens. My personal take would be the QD-LED since it seems to have the slight upper hand, little newer, but there is a possibility of more noticeable text fringing on the QD-LED.

For my own case; i'm looking at 480/500hz panels (see link below), but apparently for those data rates you need displayport 2.1 with UHBR20 for enough bandwith to not work with DSC (Display Stream Compression) and those monitors will release 2nd or 3rd quarter of this year (this is not to a problem for 1440p 240hz or lower). https://tweakers.net/pric...-x50-zwart/specificaties/
