Bios beep maar werkt prima?

Hoi,

Iets wat ik ff niet snap....

Heb tijdelijk even een 980ti in mn kast omdat ik hopelijk een 5080 kan scoren (oid).
Ik had een 7900xt in deze pc maar die is reeds verkocht.

Asus 980ti strix erin en 1x lange 2x korte beep en geen leven. 3x herplaatsen zelfde verhaal. Bios reset (volledig) ook niks
Andere 980ti strix uit een 4790k pc en nog steeds dezelfde beeps maar wel beeld! Andere strix in de 4790k ook probleemloos....

Nu elke keer opstarten dezelfde beeps maar games/benchmarks/testen alles werkt feilloos!

Waardoor dan deze beeps vraag ik me af. Ook geheugen al herplaatst.

Heb je mss pci_E 4.0 enabled staan in het BIOS, terwijl de kaart maar 3.0 ondersteund?

ik gok dat je de de kaart even moet updaten,die serie kaarten ondersteunen uefi niet helemaal

ook natuurlijk even een cmos reset proberen

of de kaart is gewoon niet goed meer,natuurlijk ook nog mogelijk

Kaart komt probleemloos uit het andere systeem. De kaart update zou idd kunnen, niet aan de uefi ondersteuning gedacht. En wellicht dat de andere strix een andere bios heeft waardoor die helemaal geen beeld geeft?

Maar gek genoeg werkt het nu dus wel volledig, alleen die beeps horen er natuurlijk niet.

Edith: zie nu dat de update tool van Nvidia ook te maken heeft met displayport 1.3/1.4.
Dit systeem is idd met dpp aangesloten, het 4790k systeem waar de kaart uitkomt gebruikt hdmi.
