Whatsapp beantwoord een bericht met SMS ipv Whatsapp

Mijn vraag
Indien ik een whatsapp ontvang via android auto en ik beantwoord deze via google voice assistent, dan wordt automatisch het opgestelde bericht teruggestuurd als SMS. Is het mogelijk dit in te stellen dat er een whatsapp wordt teruggestuurd?

Wordt het ook daadwerkelijk verstuurd als sms?
Want het viel me ook al op dat AA sinds een tijdje vraag aan wie ik een SMS wil sturen, maar dan wordt het vervolgens wel als appje verstuurd.....

het bericht wordt dan inderdaad verstuurd als sms.

Dit is echt een gedoe inderdaad, maar onderstaand was voor mij de oplossing:

Go to the Contacts app.

Tap the three lines near the top left.

Tap the Settings cog.

Tap 'About Contacts' near the bottom.

Near/around the large 'Contacts' headline, tap 9 times - 'X steps until entering the hidden option' will appear and keep counting down as you tap until a new screen pops up with some 3rd Party Integrations options.

Toggle 'WhatsApp' to 'on' in this list.

That's it - exit the menu/app etc.
