HEVC Codec Windows 11 kopen lukt niet

Ik heb een HEVC codec nodig voor Windows 11 om mijn video's opgenomen met de gopro hero 11 te kunnen afspelen. Nu kost deze codec maar 0.99 euro in de app store. Het lukt mij niet om deze codec te kopen. Ik heb 2 creditcards geprobeerd en ideal, maar ik krijg continu de melding: We’re having trouble processing your payment and we’d like to get it sorted out.
Is er een andere manier om deze codec geïnstalleerd te krijgen?

Gewoon niet gebruiken? Er zijn zat spelers zoals vlc die het kunnen openen.

VLC crasht zodra ik een dergelijk bestand open.
De legacy mediaspeler speelt ze wel af gek genoeg.

Er zijn nog wel andere prima mediaplayers natuurlijk.
Deze gebruik ik ook al sinds Windows 95/98
