Comparing Legion 5i Gen 7 with RTX 3060 and LOQ with up to R

Hi everyone,

I'm in the market for a new gaming laptop [https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/d/gaming-laptops/]and I've been considering two options: the Legion 5i Gen 7 Intel (15”) with RTX 3060 and the LOQ (15" Intel) with up to RTX 4060. Both laptops seem to have similar specs, but I'm having a hard time deciding which one to choose.

On one hand, the Legion 5i Gen 7 Intel with RTX 3060 seems like a solid choice with a powerful graphics card and good overall performance. However, I've heard some mixed reviews about the build quality and durability of the Legion series.

On the other hand, the LOQ with up to RTX 4060 looks promising with its high-end graphics card and sleek design. However, I'm not very familiar with the LOQ brand and haven't seen many reviews or user experiences with this laptop.

I'm primarily looking for a laptop that can handle high-end gaming and multitasking without any lag or overheating issues. Can anyone provide some insights or advice on which of these laptops might be a better choice? Or perhaps suggest another laptop that would fit my needs better?

Legion 5 Gen 7 is one of the best gaming laptops out there. So you don;t have to be worried about overheating issues. LOQ is a new brand and its gonna replace the entry gaming part from Lenovo. So Legion is still the higer positioned brand withing Lenovo Gaming.

I have had this one since almost 4 years uitvoering: Lenovo Legion Y540-15IRH (81SX00AHMH) and so far I have not had any issues with it. No cooling issues, no performance issues and no damage at all to the build. So in my opinion you would not have to worry with regards to the build quality of Legion laptops.
