Op zoek naar de ultieme game-pc voor de Helix Metaverse: Adv

Beste lezers,

Ik ben nieuw en een amateur, maar ik wil graag een intensief web3-spel spelen (Helix Metaverse, voor degenen die het kennen). Dit spel draait op de Unreal Engine, dus ik heb een krachtige computer nodig voor de grafische prestaties. Ik heb minimaal GTA-specificaties nodig, maar het liefst nog iets beter om alles soepel en met een aangename framerate te kunnen ervaren. Uiteindelijk wil ik het spel spelen op een 42" 720p-tv en mogelijk later op een 42" 1080p-tv-scherm.

Daarnaast is een goed geïntegreerde wifi-verbinding belangrijk voor mij. Is er hier een professional die mij kan adviseren over een geschikte game-pc waarmee ik dit spel probleemloos kan spelen?

Ik zag deze pc overigens tweedehands op Marktplaats, mogelijk is dit een goed alternatief maar koop liever iets nieuw:

1/ Why Helix Metaverse is a big scam, [PART 1]

As many of you have already noticed, the gameplay videos published by this team are almost exclusively from the ue5 city template. (the building layout is procedurally generated using Houdini)

2/ This template is designed as a playground so ue5 developers can experiment and learn the new features of ue5. But this demo is way too heavy to be used in a large-scale prod env. The team claims that it will be possible to run their game on a gtx 970. That's a lie.

3/ On the unreal engine site, the recommended config is as follows:
Windows 10 with support for DiretX 12
12=core CPU at 3.4 Ghz
64 GB of Sytem RAM
Geforce RTx-2080 /AMD Radeon 6000 or higher
at least 8 GB of VRAM

4/ As you can see in this video, a core i9/RTX 3090 config will run the demo at around 40 fps (720p).

5/ The GTX 970 (Core i7)... does not even have enough VRAM to run the demo. Less than 10fps

6/ And we are only talking about the demo. If you add all the features described on the project website, and all the high res interiors, physics, and incredibly complex interactions (which will probably require a team of 300 persons working for ten years, by the way)

7/ You can divide the framerate by 5, and you'll need several high-end GPUs, CPUs, and >100 GBs of ram to play the game at 40fps.

Denk ik niet dat iemand er nu al wat zinnigs over kan zeggen.
Net als op de vraag of dit überhaupt van de grond komt.
