Hi,
I have an old HP Pavillon Dv6 laptop which runs on WIN7 SP1 64 bit.
Initially, it had a 500GB 2.5" 7 mm thickness HDD
Over the years, I have upgraded twice to 1TB and next to a 2 TB WD HDD's
Ideally, I would upgrade to a 4TB HDD, but common HDD's are not available in 7 mm thickness and hence do not fit into the Hard Disk Bay.
I have observed that WD markets a SSD 4T 2.5" 7mm ( model WDS400T2B0A ) which COULD fit into the HP Pavilon Dv6 HDD bay.

[b

]Do you think this WD 2.5"4TB 7 mm SSD it would work into this old HP laptop.

??
BTW
( I do have a new HP ENVY laptop) , but this HP Pavilion is still going strong).
Of course, I could swap a lot of data ( 1TB) to a separate USB SSD,to create space but I prefer to have everything on one spot.
Looking forard to advice
