Bootbable USB Windows 11 maken vanaf Macbook air M1

Goedemorgen.

Ik zit met een probleem. de nieuwere macbook hebben geen bootcamp meer en dus is het moeilijker gemaakt om een bootbable usbstcik te maken voor windows 11 voor mijn desktop.

Heeft iemand dit recent nog gedaan en heeft iemand nog tips?

Ik kom eigenlijk niet verder dan blogpost van februari 2022. de nieuwere IOS die sinds kort uit is zijn nog geen post te vinden.

Via het terminal zou het moeten werken. maar ik ben daar niet in thuis.

ik vroeg me af of het volgende stappenplan nog zal werken:

To create a bootable USB stick for Windows 11 from a MacBook Air M1, you can follow these steps:

Download the Windows 11 ISO file from the Microsoft website.
Insert a USB flash drive with a capacity of at least 8 GB into your MacBook Air M1.
Open the "Disk Utility" application from the "Utilities" folder in the Applications folder.
Select the USB flash drive from the list on the left-hand side of the Disk Utility window.
Click on the "Erase" button at the top of the Disk Utility window.
Choose a name for the USB flash drive and select "MS-DOS (FAT)" as the format.
Click on "Erase" to format the USB flash drive.
Open "Terminal" from the "Utilities" folder in the Applications folder.
Type "diskutil list" into the Terminal window and press "Enter" to display a list of your disk devices.
Locate the disk identifier for your USB flash drive, which should be something like "/dev/disk2".
Type "diskutil unmountDisk /dev/disk2" into the Terminal window and press "Enter" to unmount the USB flash drive.
Type "sudo dd if=/path/to/windows-11.iso of=/dev/rdisk2 bs=1m" into the Terminal window and press "Enter". Replace "/path/to/windows-11.iso" with the actual path to the Windows 11 ISO file, and replace "/dev/rdisk2" with the actual disk identifier for your USB flash drive.
Enter your password when prompted and press "Enter" to start creating the bootable USB flash drive. This process may take a while.
Once the process is complete, type "diskutil eject /dev/disk2" into the Terminal window and press "Enter" to eject the USB flash drive.
Your bootable USB stick for Windows 11 is now ready to use.

Ik zie geen vreemde zaken in dat stappenplan, dat zou gewoon moeten werken. Probeer het eens zou ik zeggen en laat even weten wat hier uit komt. Zorg natuurlijk dat je de instructies goed volgt, vul bijvoorbeeld de juiste paden en identifiers in voor je bestanden en de USB stick.

De titel zegt trouwens vanaf een MacBook Air M1, maar je hebt het ook over Windows 11 voor je desktop.
Waarom doe/probeer je dit van de Air te doen, Is die desktop geen Windows PC dan?

Ik ga mijn eerste desktop zelfbouwen. ik beschik enkel alleen over een macbook. Dus ik moet windows 11 op mijn dekstop zien te krijgen :)!
