Updating the firmware did not work.
Also the common internet tips - Switch off, Wait 30 seconds and Switch on again didn't solve the issue.
The real soution in my case was to replace the power switch. Or, if your are handy, clean the heavy burned-in contacts inside the power switch.
First disconnect the power cable, then open the right side door (pull it with a bit of force from the front off) to reach the switch.
