Bluetooth bereik Surface Laptop 3 vs Surface Go 2

Goedemorgen,
ik heb hier een surface laptop 3 (15 inch intel) en een surface go 2.
Ik gebruik zelf de Jabra Elite 85T airbuds naar alle tevredenheid.

Ik heb gemerkt dat het bereik van deze airbuds met de surface go 2 veel verder is en zonder happeringen bij de surface go2.
Bij de surface laptop 3 heb ik na 10 meter al disconnect en happeringen.

Opnieuw toevoegen en verwijderen van de airbuds heeft niet geholpen.
Beide laptops hebben Bluetooth versie 5.0 inclusief alle updates en firmware-versies.

Iemand die hier een oplossing voor weet?

Hûh? Bluetooth is helemaal niet gemaakt om meer dan 10 meter te overbruggen. Van Wikipedia: Bluetooth :
Bluetoothapparatuur is verdeeld in 3 verschillende klassen:

Class 1: Ontworpen voor lange afstandsverbindingen (tot ~100m) (100 milliwatt)
Class 2: Voor normaal gebruik (tot ~10m) (2,5 milliwatt)
Class 3: Voor korte afstanden (10 cm - 1 m) (1 milliwatt)

How far can I move away from my smartphone while still staying within Bluetooth range?

Two factors affect the wireless range between your smartphone and Jabra headset:

The Bluetooth power class that your devices use.
The surrounding obstacles and electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Bluetooth Power Class

The Bluetooth range between your paired devices is determined by the Bluetooth power class that each device uses:

Class 1 – up to 100m/300ft
Class 2 – up to 10m/30ft

When two devices are paired, the wireless range is limited to the range of the least powerful device. For example, a Class 1 device paired with a Class 2 device result in a Class 2 wireless range. Due to the effect on battery consumption, the vast majority of smartphones use Bluetooth Class 2. This means that you can expect Class 2 wireless range, even if the connected Jabra headset supports Class 1.

Obstacles and electromagnetic interference (EMI)

The wireless range can also be reduced by obstacles and electromagnetic interference (EMI) in your surroundings:

If you are indoors, other electronic devices, walls, and furniture may reduce the Bluetooth signal. Outdoor use, without obstacles and EMI, usually results in greater wireless range.
If you leave your smartphone inside your vehicle and walk away from it (for example, if you leave a truck cab and walk behind the trailer) you may experience loss of audio. If you take your smartphone with you, the Bluetooth audio device you are using will always remain within range.

Check idd de klasse. Van beide (headset en laptop). Ik zou idd niet verwachten dat je structureel meer dan 10M kunt overbruggen.

Edit: of, je plaatst dit in Windows Clients, verwacht je een Windows instelling-probleem? Geef dan even de huidige drivers, patchniveau en instellingen.

Hoogst waarschijnlijk komt het door de plaatsing van de Bluetooth antenne. Als ik de iFixit Surface Laptop 3 teardown zo bekijk gaan er draadjes van de Bluetooth chip richting de bovenzijde van het toetsenbord. (en gaan ze niet het scherm in)

Bij de Surface Go 2 zit de antenne aan de rand van het scherm, en kan het Bluetooth-signaal beter gedijen. Maar dit is slechts een theorie.
