AMD 5700xt hoe kan ik Multi-Stream Transport (MST) aanzetten

Ik heb een desktop met een AMD 5700xt. Via een bi-directional displayport naar usb-c kabel kan ik mijn LG 5k display gebruiken. Echter ik krijg alleen een 4k resolutie.

Is het mogelijk om Multi-Stream Transport (MST) aan te zetten, om de 5k resolutie te krijgen?

Dat zou je niet nodig moeten hebben als zowel je videokaart als je monitor DisplayPort 1.4 ondersteunen. Dus, welke monitor gaat het precies om?

En kun je niet direct Displayport naar Displayport gebruiken?
Lijkt mij logischer...

Volgens een bericht hier is 4k de max via normale enkele displayport:

You can only run the LG Ultrafine 5K(even the latest version) at true 5K resolution over Thunderbolt 3. The only eGPU's that currently support this are the two from Blackmagic. You cannot output true 5K from a Displayport on the graphics card to the TB3/USB-C port on the monitor.

Regarding the Moshi USB-C to DP cable, 5K only works one way from USB-C(output device) to DP(monitor) and only if the output device supports 5K output. But in the case of the LG monitor, the USB-C output still needs to be TB3 for real 5K.

@Nielson Ik ben bekend met dat forum. Omdat the 5700xt DisplayPort 1.4 ondersteunt zoek ik een manier om toch 5k eruit te krijgen. De LG draait 5k via MST, vroeg ik me af dit doort de 5700xt of windows oid ondersteunt wordt.
